Listed below are float trips that our campers enjoy. Please note that Milleson's Walnut Grove Campground, Inc. does not provide any equipment, transportation, or coordination for such events. All use of the river is at your own risk.

Water Levels

Using the NOAA river gauge below may help determine optimal river levels for a float trip. We have been advised that the best river levels for floating occur between 1.8 feet and 3.5 feet.

When coming to Milleson's Walnut Grove Campground, Inc., please be advised that the river is beside the entrance road when the NOAA water level is at 15 feet. Any levels above that would mean that the entrance road is blocked by water. For the safety of our customers, we advise that you do not travel through any roadways that are blocked by water.
